Some Christmas gifts!

This is a beautiful gingerbread man table topper that my sister Janet in Ontario hand made for me. She is a fabulous, expert quilter. I love it!! Thank you very much Janet. I must say, it does look best in my house!! (-: I haven't picked it up very well in the picture but the detail is so good. There are little buttons for the eyes and hand stitching around the ginger bread men. Beautiful job Janet as always!
Look at this wonderful little mat with the sheep that Janet also sent me. She knows I just love sheep! It was made by a talented lady in Ontario that my sister knows. How cute is that!
This is a Hunt jug that was my Grandmother's. My younger sister Audrey thought that I would like it for Christmas for several reasons. It was our Grandmother's, it depicts the Hunt and I also collect jugs! Audrey you were right! I just love it and it was so thoughtful. Thank you very much, I shall treasure it always.

So, as you can see, I feel very blessed that I received these wonderful gifts from some very special people in my life. I hope you enjoy looking at them.

My first try at this.......

I took this picture of my first try at this kind of work. Not perfect, but not too bad. I haven't worked with wools before so it was kind of fun. It was a gift for my sister in Ontario.

Happy New Year Everyone!!

I want to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and were able to enjoy family and friends.
I had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, I got a cold that just happened to arrive Christmas eve day, but I still was able to enjoy every minute of the holidays. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner with my younger sister and her family and my Dad and my DS's in-laws. My DH took a picture of the dinner table after I had it set up.

It would have been so nice to have my other sister, who lives in Ontario, out here to join us all but they have commitments with their animals that require love and attention. Hopefully soon we will all spend Christmas together.
This is my sister's blog......http:oldecrowprimitives-janet.blogspot.com

I shall post some pics later of some of the beautiful gifts that I received this year.
